
the NHS are footing the bill. seems they underestimated how many fatties wanted to lose weight, so now they're putting a temporary stop to weight loss surgery. if i hadn't got it done when i did, there's a very real chance i'd be dead by now.

my mum had the gastric band 2.5 years ago. she lost 9 stone, then last year she had a stroke but has thankfully made a near-full recovery
without the weightloss she'd have been severely disabled, if not dead.
I know it's controversial having weight-loss surgery on the NHS, but it really does save lives.
