Just in the last few days, but this has been an issue for weeks.Only because some local officials decided to break the "rules" and allow AP photographers and others in to restricted areas.
There are many reports from pretty reliable sources about this -
Newsweek
Houston Chronicle
and many more
Some newspapers and broadcasters are not heavy on the topic because BP is a major advertiser.
