since you asked I shall repeat the story:
me buy new 12" powerbook, 3000 Euros. one week later, put CD in. superdrive go kaputt. me take to apple dealer. verify kaputness. send in. technician finds 2 CDs in drive. blames me. tells me costs 740 Euro to fix. 200 Euro to NOT fix and just send back. I did NOT put 2 CDs in at the same time. when I put the second (supposedly) CD in, it didn't complain or resist or anything, it just ate it right up. (note to the uninformed: the superdrive is just a slit in the side that eats CDs, no tray involved)
how the fuck is that MY FAULT?!?!
tomorrow I call and scream.
if that doesn't work I will use all my powers of the internet to give apple the BIGGEST BLACK EYE IT'S EVER HAD.
