# I had an awesome customer service result from Microsoft (humm surprisingly NOT autocomplete)
I bought my 360 second hand getting on for 2 years ago. With the extended warranty they offer on red light of doom it was just within warranty when it melted. Completely free service - they emailed me a courier label, UPS picked it up from work, sent it off, they looked at it and decided to send me a brand new console rather than faff around fixing the old one.

Outcome - brand new 360, reset 1 year warranty, no money. Whoop whoop!

# Mine is 3yrs and 1month old
so no warranty for me this time. Suddenly their crap design becomes my responsibility.

It is currently in pieces below my TV waiting for me to finish trying to fix it.

Before I found out that it was still under warranty, I asked around here, and these guys seemed to come recommended by many b3tans...

Was the same with the original xbox, Lots of people take the pish out of Microsoft, but credit where it is due with the Xbox warranty repairs.
