an article couple of years ago, Royal Liverpool Hospital I think. They had discovered that diabetes was regularly disappearing as a side effect of the bypass wossname. Only way I could guess (not being medical) is that the part of the gut that was removed formerly absorbed something that perpetuated the diabetes. At the time I think they discussed the possibility of doing the op for diabetes alone, regardless of wanting to lose weight. Dunno if anything came of it, not kept up to date. Anyroad it's done you a power of good, congratulations.
