yeah but if they hadwe'd never have had sleepflower or from despair to where or life becoming a landslide or roses in the hospital or the entire of the holy bible, and instead we'd have the dreck that clogged up the second half of generation terrorists instead (crucifix kiss, methadone pretty and condemend to rock n roll excluded, all being patently brilliant)

they lost all their energy and excitement when they released the second albummuch as I love La Tristesse Durera its a very average album in comparison. After that they were dad rock

i love about half of the second albumthe other half of it is over-produced but i still think it could be good
i'd also say you're being harsh on the holy bible -- it doesn't sound like dad rock to me -- but that might be because i was 14 and impressionable when it came out...
after that, yep, dad rock. i still like a lot of it but it's not what they started out as.
