No you don't have to do that you have done a wonderful job as it isI'm back trying to model in 3D apps currently trying to get the hang of Blender now the new 2.53 beta has been launched. It's a bit of a steep learning curve and the Tutorials for Blender can be very hit and miss but it's really powerful for a free program.
