The old-school (weddings, funerals and bahmitzvas style) and I've just put VDJ on his laptop for him to try out.

It's pretty sweet software.

it's not the same as a hardware xfade but it's the closest I've got so far, I use it now for live sets on morningstar.co.nr and clubs

Can't beat vinyl, although I did have cd decks at one point. I have even done a few mixes on my Traktor in the past.
