I actually genuinely prefer the taste of teamade in a mug, where the tea hasn't been allowed to brew for more than a minute or so (preferably the teabag should be squeezed a few times against the side of the mug).
My Nan wouldn't approve. She used to warm the pot, and use real tea leaves and all that marlarky.
