At a very good guess, this will include the long awaited announcement of the 1Ds4, 60D, and a few L-lenses which should include the 24-70 2.8 IS

Rock and Roll :D

# I'm shooting my oldest friend's wedding in October
so conceivably there is a very realistic chance i'll have one for it when I put my self on the pre-order list at every camera shop in the country

With some time to spare to get my head around it before his big day! Woo

# I love cameras
I took photos for a work colleague at his wedding, but I wasn't assertive enough to tell his to-be-in-laws to get the fuck out of the way as they were taking their photos right in front of me and I was suppose to be the "offical" photographer on the day I say offical in quotes as I wasn't getting pay for it or anything but they couldn't afford a professional photographer who would have told his in-laws to get the fuck out of the way, so I felt obliged to wait and missed nearly every decent chance.

# I've done a few now
You have to take control from the onset, so other guests listen to you and respect the fact you are there to remember the day more than they can do on their camera phones or Mickey mouse cameras, and subsequently are mindful of where you are pointing your glass, or even standing.

Having said that, I really like lurking when people are letting their hair down and shooting them at a distance; hence capturing truly lovely genuine shots

# Yes candid shots are usually the best
they look more natural than the staged shots. But I'm completely amateur at it. I did photography at college so know full well how a camera works and how to develop and print from film, but I don't have a great eye for composition I need more practice.
