# About 3 years ago I was having dinner with some friends
and they started talking about their Ambien experiences. One guy asked, "have you ever woken up?" and they pretty much all said yes. I was puzzled, so they explained; if you take Ambien, sooner or later you're going to wake up and find yourself somewhere, and you just better hope it's not somewhere awkward, like driving your car or crossing the street.
