This is the specific example I was referring to. There are positive- and negative-space images combined, and the colours are just gorgeous.
Also I think some of them were made by taking diluted pigment in the mouth and spit-spraying it over a hand placed against the wall. It think that's awesome.

Actually, looking at it this time, it looks like it might just be negative-space images.
