# the mind is a funny thing
we don't want to dwell on what upsets us, but we just have to. it's normal.
*hugs*

*drunk n crying like a baby here*

I think it's her time, has been for many months TBH, it may be a kindness, but it doesn't make it any easier.

:(

Thanks again for words of support but y'know, nothing can console you when it's not even your pain you're feeling...

Tho then again for all we know, years yet. In death life makes fools of us all.

# true
no matter how much you prepare, you can never be really ready when it's not you. just trust in whatever gives you comfort and know that, whatever happens, the universe isn't getting any smaller. even if it's only as atoms, we all continue on our journey.

# Or in the memory if those who survive,
tho we've been her memory for years. She's worked all her life to prepare for retirement than fate has taken away her mind and now possibly her life. So what was the fucking point!?

Is weird, we are helpless babies, we grow old, we become again those helpless babies we were at the most inappropriate time to be so.

And those that once were our babies become the parents.

Life is weird and hard to interpret in any way that makes it seem like there's any point to it once you get past any stage where there's any enjoyment in it.

I guess we just deal.

I guess I shouldn't be dealing with this on b3ta neither but things just welled up and I felt a need...

# trying to make sense of it all is one of the hardest things
it seems pointless to us and maybe it is, but it's beyond our comprehension. if he is your best mate, take comfort in the fact that she at least knows she succeeded in raising her child well

# Love ya girl.
She was a wonderful person, even if she pulls thru that person left years ago.

He is a good man.

I gotta stop this, suddenly seems like I'm cheapening it, sorry.

Thankyou tho.

# Sorry, man.
My attitude to the whole death thing is to be glad of the time that you did have with that person. When my father died, I was shocked and grief-stricken, but glad that he'd gone before me; better that I should suffer the loss of my father than he should suffer the loss of his child. We can't live for ever, we have to take our turn then make way for the next generations. Sorry if this isn't helpful, it's just how I think about things.

Edit: also, put the booze down! It only makes things worse!

# I know ir only makes things worse
but I'll sleep.

Cheers for the kind words, but I feel more and more false for sharing this.

I'll stop.
