I vaguely remember this (I was in my teens when it was on)it was a bit Red Dwarf-esque in as much as the bloke with the dreads was a almost exactly like Rimmer and dogsbody was a annoyingly American (or maybe Canadian) canine version of Lister
the bird in it used to give me the horn too although that really isnt saying much
