Yes I'm with you on that, there are certainly more deserving cases for our sympathiesbut why be so stingy with the sympathy anyway it's not costing anything and empathy is not a bad trait in a person.

Becausewhile I know she's suffering, she could have used the publicity to highlight the plight of *all* women who suffer miscarriages. Maybe done something to help the cause?

Maybe she just wants to be alone right now.If she was as much of a media-whore as you suggest then highlighting the plight of all women who suffer miscarriages is precisely what she would be doing now. Just a thought.
