# This reminds me of Maximan from Zenith
So when are they going to make a film of Zenith?

Huh?

Huh?

# Copyright infringement means it will never be reprinted.
And the likelihood of a movie version is nil, unfortunately.

between the author & the publisher

# Numerous.
1: 2000ad/Fleetway/Rebellion claim complete ownership of 'Zenith', but Grant Morrison has filed legal papers denying their claim.
2: The books featured many older UK superheroes (or subtle variations) that Morrison believed were no longer in copyright.
He was wrong.
3: In the early 90's, Eclipse comics threatened 2000ad with copyright infringement. They were the then "owners" of Marvelman/Miracleman & stated, quite rightly, that 'Zenith' had borrowed heavily from their character - which it later turned out that they didn't actually own. But that's a story for another day..

# Ah ha, I have learned something this day
My favourite blatant infringement was the Dredd story "The Cursed Earth".

and Richard Branson

Tribs, what did the cursed earth story infringe on?

Though personally, I think claims of copyright infringement on characters and stories is on shaky ground unless it's a direct copy. Nothing new under the sun and all that.
