
Incidentally, the backs of the elbows are the emphiscatles: notice the lack of the letter 'r', which always catches out first-year med students.
My old lecturer Eric Menastes made that his first lesson. If you got it wrong after that, he'd take a ruler and slap you on the phistelemii.

i'd have thought it'd have ben easier to reach your gangrenolines with a ruler, but then I'm imagining my old university, not whatever yours was
