EDIT: The sad thing is in my area [insert willy gag here ] is that most of the independant restaurants are going under and are being taken over by these 'we're big but we care' over priced chains that are all the rage these days.

Wagamama, Masala Zone, Zizzis, GBK. The latest one is Byrons. They're so going to close. Same price as Gormet Burger Kitchen 50 yards away just with half the amount of food.

There is an Indian nearer but they seem to think all the food has to be eaten by reaching though an inch of oil.
GBK coz I don't do MacDonalds or Burger King.
Zizzis coz they put the others out of business (and used to be fantastic as they were just the second Zizzi's to ever open. Now it's half the size and quality for twice the money).
Wagamama as my local Chinese is just stodge but refuse to serve the amazing food they serve to their staff.
