In fact while we're on the subject of Google's cuntinessThanks for featuring my silly blog a few newsletters ago. It got many thousands of visitors, and some of those people were nice enough to click the ad links.
Unfortunately, pretty much as soon as my adsense account passed the payment threshold, Google closed down the account and took the money back, citing "suspicious click activity".
They won't tell me why exactly, and in fact their terms of use actually state, "we won't tell you why". I've asked around and have now spoken to 2 other people who have had exactly the same experience.
Just so you all know.
