That's an advantagebut you'll lose some of the flow and sponteneity in my experience. More fun just to scribble on a bunch of layers until you get it how you want it :)

I don't dissagree with you but this is something I just made in less than 10 minutes and you can still make things look pretty organic and fluid with a bit of time and effort
