this really pisses me offthey only say that because it makes them feel better, they think they've shared their belief with you and soothed your grief and loss. they love god because they are self-important pricks themselves, they can relate.

To be fair, she's not too preachy in general (hence the fact we're friends!)I honestly think that she thought she was telling me something that would help.
But by her reckoning, if I came round your house for dinner and stole your best silverware that your mum had given you, then when you caught me said "Oh but I only choose the very best silverware for my dinner table!", that would make it alright? Hmm, don't think so...
Sorry, I'll not rant. I mentioned to my counsellor after Jess died that I didn't seem to be having any of the anger that all the leaflets told me I would - then had a bit of an anti-God rant, and she said "Ah, there's your anger!" :)
