Personally I'd have been happier if they made another album but I guess I don't call their shots.

If it sounded like kraftwerk, it could easily sound dated and irrelevant.
If it sounded modern, it probably wouldn't sound like kraftwerk.
Be a shame to ruin the legacy.

HAS/YMO managed to produce modern music while retaining some of their original sound

I wouldn't know. Never really heard any yellow magic orchestra, and I don't know what HAS stands for :)

Half the group left under that name and then rejoined later.
Some of their more recent work

And the only thing wrong/right with it is that the new stuff sounds like the Human League.

I fucking love the Human League. With and without Ware and Marsh.

that even the single sounds like a meh album track. So don't expect another 'Travelogue' or 'Dare'.

If only there was some kind of electronic device that enabled a person to find out the answers to such questions from the comfort of their own armchairs...
(OK, I admit that was sarcastic)

The single "Night People" was released on 22 November 2010, which failed to chart. Follow up single "Never Let Me Go" was released on 1 March 2011 except in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, where "Egomaniac" was released on 4 March 2011. The album Credo was released in these territories on 11 March 2011. It will be released in the rest of Europe on 21 March 2011. [31] There are no plans for a worldwide release.

it would appear I haven't actually bought anything by them since 1984, namely The Lebanon.
Where does all the time go, eh?

Despite being self-employed, they clock in and out daily, imposing a rigorous Mon-Fri professional
regime upon themselves even though they produce practically fuck all.
And they actually ride bicycles on the road, even when they're not pissed.

Over here it's illegal to ride on the footpath.

Cos it's unlawful to ride on the pavement, and it's fucking lethal to ride on the road.
So we squat here like toads, blinking and not moving. And save up for taxis.

I've only just relocated from there myself. Moseley, to be precise...

b3tans have been vacating Moseley in droves over the last couple of years, for some reason.
I put it down to Moseley not being all it's cracked up to be. That and the increased efficiency of the council pest controllers.

Good squatting and party scene some years ago. Full of poseurs these days.

It's a pity I never met you while you were here.
All the bashes I've been to have been fucking great, and I've made friends from them.
A very easy crowd to rub along with (at least in Brum and Derby, which are the ones I've attended).
Since you're no longer in Brum, I'd recommend strolling along to one near you.

Being over-sensitive there.
I'm not sure if enough people would know who the hell I was if I did go to one of the b3ta bashes.
Probably be full of people I'd managed to annoy in one way or another...
edit:enough people anyone

edit:

People don't care who you 'are'. I'm exactly this kind of twat online and offline.
Just the fact of being on b3ta is quite a leveller. I was a bit nervous going to my first bash,
but turned up, immediately saw some prat wearing a stupid hat (who is now a good friend), and just melted into it.
Perhaps you won't be annoying.
Fuck, I sound like Claire Rainer all of a sudden.
