Aren't most video games repetitive?Shooter = shoot, Driving sim = drive etc etc.
I know what you're getting at, the missions can get tedious. I just really enjoy open world/sandbox games rather than linear BS.

As do I.Red Dead Redemption is great for a dozen hours or so, before you gradually realise nothing new's going to come along... maybe I'm just spoilt.
Favorites of mine (this gen) are Fallout 3 and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which both keep it interesting for a hell of a long time.
All-time favourite is Thief 2: The Metal Age, from way back, but a beautifully subtle thing to play.

I never got into the Fallout series.I do admit to not giving it a lot of time though.I'll definitely give it another go sometime.

Please do.Fallout 3 takes its time getting you into its stride, but once it does... believe me, it's worth the groundwork.
