This is from what I read/some of my own smarts1. Did you really thing he was going to come peacefully? He was going to go down with a fight. Even if they did get him peacefully it probably wouldn't help, he probably wouldn't have said a word. Making any kind of trial difficult.
2. The body was disposed of quickly due to Islamic laws. If no autopsy is required then the funeral should be held as soon as possible.
3. His body was flown to Afghanistan for ID (DNA and facial recognition) after that he was taken to the boat for a sea burial
4. They decided to bury him at sea so there was no physical final resting place. The worry was if he had a grave that it would become a shrine.
