thanks mateyeah, gimp has hue/saturation/colour. just seemed to make his face go different colours though!

Don;t know if it's the same in gimp,But in photoshop when you click on hue and saturation,
When the box appears, appart fron the sliders for hue and satuation, there is an edit box at the top where you can choose which colour you want to edit, like master meaning all the colours, or just the reds or greens or blues ect.... it is really useful to be able to edit individual colours....
