My exhaust fell off on the way home last night

I crawled underneath it whilst parking on a hill, praying the handbrake would hold, while I removed it from its bracket (this is after giving up trying to tie it back up - deciding that it would be easier to take off the broken bit)

The amount of time I've spent underneath my old cars patching up knackered exhaust systems.
Personal low-point - bodging it together on the hard shoulder of the M6 with 150 plus miles to go, using a wire coathanger on a bracket to support the broken off section so it didn't drag along the road, and then getting progressively deafer and deafer all the way home.
