I know that emvee is pronouncing it with a gentle midland liltand if I do that in my head minge etc rhyme perfectly.
For myself, I hardly seem to say the 2nd syllable at all, so it's trickier.

It would be much harder if I were Canadianas my missus pronounces it "ornge", as one syllable, like she says "squirl" instead of "squirrel"
