Also, you might want to download a specialist de-fragmentation tool which might be better at moving those stubborn 'unmoveable' files during de-fragmentation.

Download and run this to defrag that swap file

Dump it on your desktop, run it, reboot.
RAM is cheap and can be delivered quick - www.crucical.com/uk/ (Very easy to install)
Kill off other programs that are running. Go through all the stuff down by the click, right click, and exit them. Including the anti-virus.
Remember to feed the pixies by putting cheese slices in via the DVD drive.
