i'm wondering if the compos might be part of the problem
loads of compo related stuff in the couple of days after the compo starts, then posting gradually lessens. there's not as much random shite to inspire me anymore
edit- i agree with the movie posters though, my first post was the movies with animals. i think i laughed at almost every entry on that one.
There's nothing to stop anyone form doing movie pics, though i think people will get bored of it very quickly.

I think each person really owes it to themselves to do what they like to do--
whether or not anyone else finds it good or funny. Otherwise, our motivations and expectations are simply tossing about in the winds.

Except we're really only showing it here for peer approval reaction
realistically, like pretty much all forums, this IS essentially a popularity contest thang!
Anyhoo much as I'd like to continue this discussion, and I would as I been enjoying the chats more than the links n pics latey, I guess I better try n sleep sometime soon.
G'nite folks, try not to have nightmares about lens flares bouncing off comic sans!

the viscious flaming strange dialect and pointless hostility
can put some off.

flaming only really occurs when people post shite they've found on the net, and worse, claim it to be theirs
it doesn't take long to learn what RIS is and
pointless hostility is generally between established members.
imho
