I'm glad I gave up on Star Wars when Episode 1 was released.The whole series has become a parody of itself, to the point where I can't even watch the original cuts anymore. Lucas is biting the hand that feeds him, and has done for years and years.

I think it's a case of rose-tinted specs with most people.I tried watching 4, 5 and 6 for the first time in years over the Summer, and I got so bored I had to give up... just near the end of ep. 4.
