Ah, the little differences. I was told that smoked or salted horse meat as a sandwich topping isn't readily available at your supermarkets.

no it isn't

although i've eaten horse in spain and my only problem with it is that it's a bit stringy

That's why they make very thin slices, like carpacchio

Although a horse steak can be nice too.
