Unfortunately our DNA also provides us with natural enemies of fun (within our own species no less), and an archaic law against ball games in public (I kid you not, in Northern California, in America) was invoked to stop people kicking a sack around.
What the hell is wrong with people, it's not like we were dancing or anything.
