I'll take the risk!

At age 12ish, I tried to make my own lightsaber! I spent all day stripping copper wire and wrapping it around an old bicycle pump, carfully insulated one end with a rubber hand grip, wired it up to a plug and swithed it on, things went with a bit of a bang!
