DC thompson asked me to take some Oor Wullie parodies down from my website, not because they were parodies per se but because they were utter filth.
To be honest though, I thought it was fair enough in both cases.

Thompsonscan be a bit funny about that - they gave Viz a very hard time over their constant parodies of characters from The Beano & Dandy

They were quite nice about it reallyand I could see their point. Their issue with Viz is probably more in keeping with what Rob is looking for.
