Its an ace filmDead space 1 & 2 were alright, but the got so repetitive that i just didnt care or get even remotely scared.
Its usually quiet, then some 'false' scares, then you walk into a room and trigger a load of cheesy roaring monsters. I just used to run everwhere and trigger all the monsters because the scares were too predictable to endure.

I preferred Silent Hill 3, the audio could really be atmospheric and opressiveNasty subtexts of cruelty, sadism and abuse.
