This monstrosity was the first game I ever played
and still it didn't put me off computers for life

# Hah! He dies like Arthur does in Ghouls 'n Ghosts.
As for the game, it seems fairly basic for an Amiga game in '87.

# I think it was an ST conversion, although yeah, it was pretty dire.
There were plenty of better things about, but I got it as part of two bundles packaged with the machine - some of the titles were utter shit :|

# You very rarely get good games with the machine itself... one exception I can think of it Tetris with the Game Boy.
That Back to the Future game looks... well... like one REALLY long, slow, dull level, with slider puzzles mixed in. In other words, a typical movie tie-in.

EDIT: I'm off to bed now. Nighty night b3ta!

# It's the most difficult thing I've ever played, too.
The guy who made this video must be some kind of expert, because the controls are soft, you oversteer, and with a digital joystick it's nigh-on impossible to predict where your character's going to end up. Oh, and you can only see 5 metres in each direction, and absolutely fucking EVERYTHING will hurt you. Never mind the cop cars intent on crushing you from every side ... crack in the street? Lose some health. Puddle of water? Kerb a bit too steep? OAP wandering along, minding his own business? A tiny piece of rubbish on the ground? ... etc
