The most likely path to FP's is via the Popular Page, where the mods can see the best of /board at a glance.
And it's the clicks of people like -D- that allow those images to get there in the first place.
I checked one user's profile, today, and they had only liked a little over 100 pictures in 8 years, but had recieved more than 200 FP's.
That made me sad.
