I remember this from my childhood.They were the cheapest shoes you could buy the the time in Dunnes an Irish version of Primark.

I think we had a Dunnes here in Manchester until quite recently.I do know you can buy knock-off Converse for about £3 in Primark. I suppose they're good in an emergency, can't say I've ever bought a pair.

TK Maxx are good for cheap trainers.Decent labels at decent prices, although it's a lottery as to what they have in stock.
