Microsoft have spoken of something called Smartglass, or something.Basically, you can control your Xbox through any tablet PC or mobile phone. Not sure what the deal with Nintendo's Wii U is at the moment. It's an interesting premise though; when your friends come over and want to socialize, you can carry on playing with a screen on the controller.
I'll keep my eye out for that one, but without sounding like a snob, I'm really not impressed with E3 this year.

Smartglass was a bit more than a remote controlIt's essentially all manner of the Wii U controller features too (it can be used as a second screen in games etc). Rumours are it's coming to Android and iOS too as well as Windows 8.

Other than that though there's nothing much new.Playstation Plus now seems like a more interesting proposition (the £40/year now gets you 10 PS3 games, with 35 more to come this year)
