Not here.Almost all cysterns in public places around here are electronic, they flush when you move away from them. Sometimes before.
Faucets, soap dispensers, and driers pretty much all work that way too.

Ah, many public places yes (excluding train stations)Never seen an automatic soap dispenser except on an advert. I couldn't help but wonder what the point was since you only ever touch it before washing your hands.
