was a film extra in Velvet Goldmine a load of us dressed in black uniforms carrying rifles on Croydon High street, supposed to be New York. Old dear walks up "oooh, are you filming ?" one of the extras replies "No love, it's a bomb scare. You better move along". Old dear toddles off.
