The jest is that if you work in the art world to any degree lots of people would say 'I see what you did there' not with a laff but with a chin rub and a discussion about the meaning of removing the protagonist from the image to create a 'new discourse on the nature of memory and society's ability to appreciate history in the digital nowism'.
