Sad to see another high street store close it's doors, and i'm gutted for the staff, but i'm hardly suprised to be honest. Their prices weren't that competative for the products they stocked, and the ease now days to find a good price for something on the internet is obvious. Even for printing it's cheaper on the internet using someone like snapfish.
The products they still stocked were hardly of interest to the serious photographer either, even at some of their central London branches, I haven't been in one for years.
Now days I shop at Park Cameras who stock everything short of the Canon CN lenses, though they can get them as a special order item, or B&H in New York for stuff you can't get in the UK.

Cheapest price online was Amazon at £49.79, Jessops were £49.99 (and I could pick it up the same day).
20p more to have it the same day was a bargain.
Good thing I'm happy with it though, returning it would be a bastard now.
