# I was just reading in the Independent
some dwarf crocodiles were rescued because they submerged themselves under water. Quite a feat for a fireman given you couldn't thus dart them, so they must have been man-handled out of the blazing building!

# They should make a film which is a cross
between the Towering Inferno and Snakes on A Plane about the incident.

# Seriously, I would like to know how they did that
When I first started at London Zoo we were taken behind the scenes in the animal houses and whilst in the back of the Reptile House was casually leaning on a large container watching an animal keeper handling a large snake when I looked over my shoulder and realised there was a caiman crocodile on it's hind legs reaching towards me! Despite their relatively diminished size I would not fancy one of your hands chances if it got hold of one; a serious set of teeth.

# They're an old hand at that trick
apparently that (and the scavenging) was how they survived the Chicxulub asteroid
