Well, mainly because of both of their public personas coming across as cold and inhumancauses the sight of one seemingly inhuman prick crying about the other seemingly inhuman dead prick to seem farcically ridiculous. This causes discrepency between what the viewer expects and what the viewer sees, resulting usually in a humour responce to help our brains cope with the sudden change of perspective.
