It's revenge for a yank Sherlock Holmesand a woman Watson. Not in the same programme but that just makes it worse since it shows the Americanisation of the greats of our literature is endemic.

You'll never read this replybut to be fair to him I actually quite liked Robert Downey Junior as Sherlock Holmes. Lucy Liu as Watson, though, is barely forgivable.
