as for T-shirt printing, it depends on how many you are looking to get done, i'm assuming you want them silk screened.

I know a mate who knows someone who does some pretty good screen printing

I dunno if i can be arse keeping inventory on a shitload of tshirts of differing shapes and sizes though. Ive not got a very big place. Ideally, i'd like to go with one of those places like spreadshirt or zazzle that print to order, but the quality wont be as good, and they'll be expensiverer.

Let's face it the majority of your customers will be in the XXL category so stock control won't be that much of an issue ;o)

find out what the minimum quantity you can order is

from your artwork you'll need 3 screen for the separate colours.
