I think your FP pic is funny and cute/ugly, and definitely doesn't look out of place on the FP.
You said it only took 2 minutes but I think that's just typical of how it works sometimes, something that seems quick and obvious just looks funny, and another 2 hours fiddling with it won't make any real difference to that.
