I heard that COBRAStands for Cabinet Office Briefing Room A
and that all the others are just called Briefing Room B, C, etc.
But they thought that COBRA was badass and BRA was, well, not the image they really wanted to portray.

Edit: Wikipedia doesn't appear to agree, I don't care.
