I have a friend who grew up in a similarly abusive home, it made them see the value in life of all living things and endeavour to work to protect people and animals, quite the opposite of this woman.

Protecting People and Protecting Animals are two very different thingsWhilst I don't want to see an animal suffer unneccesarily i'll happily kill any of them to eat them. Foie Gras is one of those borderline things for me - Sure its not great for the goose, but on the other hand it's a fucking goose and it wouldn't have existed but for us breeding it for food *
